Promising voices. Practical ideas. Stronger communities.

Meaningful work should not be overlooked because it comes from a new author, an independent creator, a small business, a nonprofit leader, or a community outside traditional publishing centers.

We are building Copper Oak with professional standards and a practical, human approach. We want to create work with lasting value, help readers discover worthwhile resources, and make publishing and reading more accessible.

Traditional publishing can be difficult to navigate, especially for first-time authors, young writers, local creators, and people without established industry connections.

As Copper Oak grows, we intend to explore practical ways to support promising authors through education, project development, publishing guidance, and carefully selected opportunities. We also hope to build meaningful relationships with schools, libraries, booksellers, literacy organizations, funders, and community partners.

We are not currently accepting unsolicited manuscripts.
Future submission opportunities will be announced publicly when they are available.

Copper Oak is developing a curated resource hub featuring books and creative resources selected for their quality, usefulness, originality, or community value.

The collection will highlight strong work from independent authors, small publishers, booksellers, educators, and creative organizations. Some recommendations may eventually use affiliate links, which will always be disclosed.
